NEW EXHIBITION – SEPTEMBER 2021
ART EXHIBITION AT
THE 23b GALLERY
HIGH ST
COWBRIDGE
OPENING 04/09/21 ending 18/09/21
Firstly can I give a big thank you to Natalie Davies for all her understanding & support over these very difficult months of lockdown – I really appreciate it Nat.
I’m so thrilled to say that I will again be exhibiting my art work at 2b High St. The Gallery will be open from Tuesday to Sunday (inclusive)
I will have around 70 original seascape paintings of all sizes & prices, as well as a large selection of Signed Limited Edition Prints in the show.
This exhibition has been inspired by the words TEMPEST & TRANQUILITY FROM THE SAME SEA (A twist on the words of the great singer songwriter Martyn Joseph) & THE SKYS SO BLUE, THE SUNS GONNA SHINE ON EVERYTHING YOU DO (Lighthouse Family).
I’m really looking forward to catching up with my many clients who have over the years become friends. Please do call in even if its only for a chat & a look round. I hope you will recognise how this inspiration has been worked into my paintings

Despite all the stresses in recent times I did find success at the Found Gallery in Brecon where I enjoyed a great solo exhibition slotting nicely into a few weeks in between lockdowns. My thanks goes to Punch Maugham the Founder & owner for her kindness & support.
As ever sales continued to flow at The Harbour Lights Gallery, Porthgain who always have my paintings in their lovely Gallery & who have for many years encouraged me & supported me so another big thank you to Katy, Annie & Huw
It was very sad that I was unable to exhibit in the 2b Gallery, Cowbridge, due to lockdowns, but I comfort myself with the thought that so many others are much worse off than me & at least I’m fit & well ! Natalie Davies there however remains so kind & supportive
Fortunately I also enjoyed working on a number of commissions for people too who I think wanted to bring something into their homes that brought back memories of their favourite place along the coast
Above all however I want to thank you for all your support & interest in my work, for following my website, for buying my paintings & inviting me to your clubs & societies to talk to you…… so THANK YOU
As for the future well I’m very optimistic & have been developing new ideas & techniques in recent months. I am always inspired by the music of Martyn Joseph but recently found motivation from The Lighthouse Family’s song Ocean Drive, & the words “And the sky’s so blue, Suns gonna shine on everything you do” so look out for more bright blue colours in my sky’s this year !!
