I’m deeply disappointed to say that as a result of latest developments with Covid 19 I’ve had to take the difficult decision to postpone the exhibition
I’ve worked so hard pulling together all the new work for the show & was looking forward to catching up with you once again.
That said the priority is quite rightly the safety of us all & that is what has finally brought me to this decision.
All of the paintings that would have been in the exhibition can however be seen on this website & are available to purchase. If you should particularly like one I can arrange Covid safe delivery with the option (without any obligation) for you to change your mind when you see the actual painting if it’s not exactly how you expected it to be.
In the meantime please stay safe, keep in touch & I hope to see you again very soon.
I’m really looking forward to regaining a little normality in what has been a very strange year by welcoming you & your friends to visit my upcoming Exhibition at Gallery 23b High Street, Cowbridge.
This Exhibition has been inspired by the words TEMPEST & TRANQUILITY FROM THE SAME SEA (a twist on the words of the great singer songwriter Martyn Joseph) and ‘THE SKY IS SO BLUE, THE SUN’S GONNA SHINE ON EVERYTHING YOU DO’ (Lighthouse Family).
The Gallery will be open:
Tuesday – Saturday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (closed Monday)
Sunday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
It will feature 50 + original works plus a range of signed, limited edition prints featuring local views as well as scenes from further afield – something for everyone!
Here are just a few of the original paintings that will be available to view….
As part of the Found by The Sea Exhibition which is taking place at the wonderful Found Gallery in Brecon (14th July – 19th August) I am delighted to confirm that throughout the day on 28th July (11:00 – 16:00) I will be demonstrating my painting techniques & showing how some of the magic happens!
It is of course paramount that your visit will be not only enjoyable but above all safe so the Gallery has worked tirelessly to ensure that suitable social distancing precautions will be in place.
The Gallery is a wonderful space, full of light & character so I am very excited to see my work hanging there and hope that you enjoy it too!
I’m really excited to confirm that my one-man exhibition at the wonderful Found Gallery in Brecon is set to open 14 July and runs until 19th August.
Easing of the lockdown has come just in time so you & your friends are very warmly invited to visit the stunning gallery in Brecon’s historic Bulwark. I’m looking forward to carrying out a painting demonstration during the exhibition so watch this space for more details!!

I’m really looking forward to The Albany Gallery in Cardiff opening up their ‘virtual’ Summer Exhibition.
These are very strange & difficult times but as Miro once said:
” A simple line painted with the brush can lead to freedom and happiness”
I hope that you are all keeping healthy & safe with your family & friends and that you enjoy viewing my work on the Albany site as well as my own website and that it brings some freedom and happiness to you.

People often ask me about the process of how a painting develops and although I hate people seeing my work until it’s finished (!) I thought I’d share these to give you an idea of how a painting develops…….
